Shabby Chair redo with burlap grain sack

Hello friends!

I have finally finished my first chair redo.

I'm pretty happy with the results overall but this was very time consuming! I don't know how you bloggers that do this for a living do it all! It took me forever to strip it all the way down to the springs and the wood.

Here is an "after" of the top of the chair.

I added some "thingys" I don't even know what they are called. I painted the wood I was leaving exposed with ASCP in Old White.

I used canvas material in cream and an old grain sack I had.

Here is a "before" of the chair.

Sorry for the photo, I was a bad blogger and didn't take any before photos so this is the one from my phone taken in the back of my vehicle to show my sister my goodies I had found.

I love how it turned out. Pinterest definitely helped me decide what I wanted to do.
