Hello friends!
I thought I would share a few of my favorite flower photos with you today.
I had very good luck with keeping hydrangeas going this winter. I cut the stems at an angle, dipped the ends in Alum. I changed the water and redid the steps and they lasted up to 6 weeks!
This bunch is in my vintage European milk bucket.
My favorite white vintage pitcher full of blue hydrangeas. I recently found this chippy green table, I just love it.
For Valentine's day I surprised my love with a romantic treat in bed.
Here is the last bit of hydrangeas. They are in my vintage sap bucket from Maine. I'm originally from Vermont (I live in Colorado now) so this was so fun to find. My sister got it for me for my birthday from A Beautiful Mess Antiques.
Spring has landed here in Colorado and I hope to show you photos of my gardens and flowers soon!

All your hydrangeas are beautiful, Shanon! I just bought three small hydrangea plants at one of the local grocery stores. I can't wait to get them planted outside ~ probably by next week.

ReplyDeleteGorgeous hydrangeas, gorgeous sap bucket and gorgeous chippy table! Just love these photos, Shanon. What is 'alum' that you dipped the hydrangeas in? You're such a savvy gardener.
ReplyDeleteWow, I lóve the way you decorate your house!! Your blog is very inspiring because I am very busy changing my interior... more and more white we get and recently I started to add soft colors like pale pink, light greyish blue (don't know if that's correct English??) and things like that. So I really love your interior.
ReplyDeleteAlso one of my favorite flowers are hydrangeas and I think they look marvelous in the milk bucket. :-))
hugs, Jolanda
