Office/Craft Room Redo

Hello friends!

I am on the painting trail and my office/craft room was the next room to be done.

I used the paint I had left from my sitting room, you can see that post here.

Old ceiling tin above a vintage mirror.
The Paris sign was purchased from the most talented Rosemary of Villabarnes. She does the most amazing things, be sure to check her out if you don't already know her.

My sewing corner.

Vintage shopping cart. I added a burlap bag from a bird feed store.

Craft storage. This room also has a closet that is used as a pantry/craft storage space. It is on the main level near the kitchen and is considered a bedroom.

You know I love my birds and thought I would add some late September migratory and year round birds.
Not sure what kind of hummingbird this is but I have more of these this year then I ever have.

Mountain Chickadee.

Downy Woodpecker checking out the wren house.

Here is the one "before" of the office that I could find, bad blogger! I can't believe I didn't take before photos!
The walls were a chocolate brown, what was I thinking?
The room was beginning to be a "catch all" so is much more picked up and organized now.

Next up is my bedroom. I can't wait to redo that, it is going to take a while because I want to sell all of the furniture in it and start over. It is the last room in my house to "shabby chic/farmhouse vintage." Yay!

Happy Fall.

  7. I've envious os your craft space with all those windows. My crafty area right now is a large walk in closet with a tinty window, so would love to have a large room with lots of light. It's amazing how a can of paint can improve a space, isn't it? I love the wall color and your shabby decor.

I've been telling everyone in case they didn't see it, but this is Shannon formerly of Cozy Home Scenes. Long story short, but I had to recently quit my old blog and start a new one. You'll be seeing me under this name fron now on.

    Have a great week!

  9. It looks great! Great windows and light too. I have those same metal shelves! You have inspired me to dig out my flea market cart (I have no clue where I have shoved it) and maybe turn it into yarn storage!
