Pumpkin Cobbler and Chandelier redo

Hello friends!
It's that time of year to make yummy pumpkin cobbler.

Easy and yummy, how can you go wrong?

 Pumpkin Cobbler

Crust~ 1 yellow cake mix (reserve 1 cup)
1/2 cup butter (softened)
1 egg
... Mix then spread in 13x9 ungreased pan
Filling~ 2 16 oz cans pumpkin
3 eggs
5 oz evap milk
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
2 teas vanilla
Mix well and spread over crust
Topping~ 1 cup dry cake mix
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup cold butter
Mix with pastry cutter until crumbly and sprinkle over filling.
Bake 1 hour @ 350 degrees
Serve cooled with cool whip or ice cream.
Enjoy! Let me know how you like it!
And while that was baking, I painted my new (old) chandelier.
Here is the before.

I spray painted a white primer on first and then an antique white spray paint.

I love it! I first had decided to put it over my kitchen sink but it is REALLY shabby.
One of the arms is broken so it is propped up on another small arm.
My brother in law is a wielder and he said he would have to take all of the wiring apart to weld it.
He used a "liquid" wielding material and fixed it.
I broke it again within minutes of him leaving :(
It also seems to hang to one side, I thought maybe because of the broken arm but that doesn't seem to be the reason.
So here it is in all of it's lighted glory!
I'm still looking for one to go over my kitchen sink.

Have a great day!

  10. Broken or not, I love chandliers, espcailly white ones with lots of crystals. Yours is really pretty, and hopefully you can find some way to fix it someday.

  11. Shanon~
Had to come back and get the cobbler recipe. It's been so warm here and "overnnight" it got chilly. The wind is blowing and it looks like fall. Warm cobbler sounds sooooo good.
    Thanks for sharing.
