Easter and potting bench

Hello friends!
I have been so busy lately!
My daughter is finally better, thank you for all of your well wishes.
She still has her cast on but the double ear infection, upper respiratory infection and bleeding in her intestines from the antibiotics and the gum infection have finally gone away. I couldn't take much more! Poor girl!

I have missed going around all of my favorite blogs, I can't wait to see what you all have been up to!

With Easter around the corner, I thought I would share my Easter mantle with you.

The Easter tree is from Pottery Barn, circa 2004, does that make it vintage yet? ;)

The three tiered candle holder is Simply Shabby Chic line from target, also from around 2004.

I have also been working in the gardens, trying to get them ready for spring.

I decided to make a little potting bench out of this console table we used to have inside.
It was custom made from my husbands friend.
I added bits and pieces to it and can't wait to have pots this spring that actually have flowers in them here!

Love this vintage french watering can....not really, it's from Ross. :-)

I used reclaimed wood from an old barn tear down here in Colorado Springs for the bottom shelf.

And lastly, I added some burlap and muslin to this old Pottery Barn basket.
I added stamps and bling to the muslin.
Hot pink large carnations look so sweet in it.

I hope you all have a wonderful week!

  1. I love your Easter decore--where did you get those wings? They are awesome. Your outside area is looking ship shape too. I wish I could wave a magic wand and have all our weeds disapppear:)

  4. SO beautiful Shanon!! I love the potting bench, you did an awesome job on it!!
I'm so glad to hear that your daughter is doing much better, it's horrible when our children are sick. As Mom's we want to be able to fix it immediately and when we can't we feel so helpless.
Take care and have a great week.
    Sincerely,
    Melinda
