New flowers

Happy spring!

Our local warehouse (Costco) has potted annuals already.
It is 36 degrees and snowing as I type this :(
I couldn't resist! I will be lugging these babies in and out for 3 weeks.

I am loving these new pots I got from TJ Maxx/Homegoods.
Such a pretty turquoise.

One of my crab apples is flowering. You can see we don't have leaves on the rest of our trees.
I've been checking daily for signs of life.

On another note, I loved this PJ T-shirt from Target. I am such a daydreamer!
I know most of you ladies out there are, too. We always have thoughts and ideas running through our heads.

Some of my poor tulips and daffodils this past week, they were fine and came right back to life after the snow left them.

Not much crafting today, too busy!
I am still dreaming of spring and waiting for the warm weather to hit us.
I promise! I won't complain when we hit 90 this summer!
In the meantime I love living vicariously thorough all of you that are deep into spring. I love seeing all of your photos.

Have a great week!

  1. Your porch is looking lovely Shanon. I can't believe you're still getting snow. Just like I can't believe we're still getting sunshine.

  5. Gina and I are enjoying looking over your plant purchases--and the turquise pots are just her style. It needs to quit raining here so we can get on with our gardening. Chilly here tonight and the wood fires are a comfort.

  6. On the plus side, you have waited so long for Spring's arrival that you will really appreciate it when it gets there!

  9. Oh wow, it's been hot here this past week :-) Petunias aren't annuals around here either, mine have come back for 3 years in a row now. What a difference a climate makes. You've got a better view though, I'm sure :-) I'd love to find some of those turquoise pots too, they're beautiful.
    Enjoy your weekend!
    Blessings,
    Marcia
