My Girl's Room

Kila is 8 years old and has this pink and white room. We have made changes over the years and it is still a work in progress but I thought I would share it with you today. I haven't shown you either of my girl's rooms and I will start with Kila's.

We just got her a queen bed. She had a twin with the headboard and foot board but it was hard with sleepovers. She loves having the queen!

The desk and chair we got at The Barn in Castle Rock, CO. I love this place!

Cute kitty purse, H&M in Los Angeles.

We removed the carpet and put tile in. Unusual for a bedroom in Colorado but we have bad allergies and we have hardwood through most of the main areas and so I really wanted tile for all the bedrooms. I love it! It's so much easier to clean and our allergies are better. We have switched our whole house now to tile or hardwood.

Vintage ceiling tiles from The Barn.

Book case and nightstand from Pottery Barn, seven years ago, is that considered vintage now?? :)

This was done ten years ago now, I'm ready for it to be back to white.

Faux wainscoting (sp??) done eleven years ago. We didn't have a lot extra to spend with our first daughter on the way and I really wanted this look. We took baseboards and hung them and then painted white down from there. I still love the way they turned out. Cheap, cheap, too!

I hope you enjoyed my little tour!
