Main level bathroom redo

I finally finished my main level bathroom redo.
I went to the Paris Street Market for the final touches.

~Before~
Sage green walls and brass lighting. I would love to update the lighting but I want to buy too many other things first.

Cabinets before. I was ready to take the plunge and paint them white.

Before of the lighting but after for the wall paint. It's a pale gray like I did in the master toilet area.

After! I love the brass painted white, and I love my new Eiffel Tower art from The Paris Street Market.

I love fleur de lis also so the hooks were perfect and they match my Simply Shabby Chic towels by Rachel Ashwell for Target.

They are also a pale gray. It's so hard to tell without natural lighting!
A photographer, I am not! I need to read my manual more :)

Also from the Shabby Chic line...

Vintage towels on a shabby towel rack.

Loving my turquoise vintage bottles.
Crown frame also from the Shabby Chic line.

Yay! My white cabinets, I love them!
I also whitewashed the trash basket.

Now how can I also paint the shower's brass? I don't know if the moisture or my housekeeper (I'm spoiled) will wipe it away. Has anyone out there done this?

I'm still patiently waiting for fall weather here in Colorado. It's supposed to be in the 80's again today. I think cooler weather is coming at the end of the week, I can't wait! I'm wishing for a rainy day.

  8. Isn't it annoying when you can't get a photo that accurately displays a paint color? I suppose its due to reflections--or something, but yes, reading the camera manual would be very boring.
I love vintage bottles but have never found a way to get ancient grime from the insides--I have even tried soaking them in substances such as lime-away.

  15. Yes you can paint that brass trim on your shower surround... I am not sure what product though. I do know I have seen it done.
I love your bathroom redo, and painting out that brass will just finish it off perfectly. And curse you for bring the Shabby Chic Target line to my attention... but the Economy thanks you!

  20. Your bathroom makeovers look great. Very light, bright and airy now. I also love your daughter's room with the pale pink walls and the blue sky ceiling with clouds. Very pretty! I can see that you love all things Paris -- we were there last month and I didn't bring home one piece of French art. :/ Have a great weekend. Tammy
