Master Bath Redo

Here is my newly decorated and painted Master Bath! I am so happy with how it turned out, so much better then the before colors.
I went through a "pink and brown" phase and now am trying to get my wall back to a lighter color.

The befores........

After.....
I painted this iron scrolly thingy (??) and nailed it onto the wall.

French Fleurs sign, it is very chippy and has turquoise as the background color.
Two french towel holders.

I painted the cabinets Decorators White.

The walls are Sandstone by Behr, they looked a creamy white on the paint swatch.
They look very white on my walls! I really like it, so much better then the brown.
I took down the shades and added white curtains instead.

I painted the light fixtures the same white as the cabinets.

I love this Paris Amour from Bath and Body Works, my favorite!

I made a faux chandy for over my bath.

I even painted my container that holds my makeup a bright turquoise, the same color as the chandy.
It definitely gives a pop of color for the room.
I hope you like my redo! I just love it and can't wait to start painting the rest of the house.

  1. Wow, the white paint really changed the look of your room. It was so dark before, and I love how light it is now. My bathroom doesn't have a window, so I miss that. I even like the curtains, but they wouldn't be practical at my house since we have a Peeping Tom in the neighborhood. Eeks!

I'm not positive, but I think that iron thing is a shelf bracket. If so, for it's real purpose, it hangs the other way with another one to hold a shelf. I really like the chippy factor going on with it and how you used it for decoration.

I too have a faux chandy I'm saving for when I redo my bathroom, so I enjoyed seeing how yours looks. Can't wait to redo my bathroom now too.

Thanks for linking up to my Your Cozy Home party!

  23. Hi Shannon ~ Your bathroom is beautiful! Last week I bought a gallon of Sandstone by Behr for my bedroom. I haven't started it yet and I've been a little nervous about the color so it's such a nice surprise to see how beautiful it looks in your bathroom. You did a great job. I hope to start painting this week.

  25. Love it! Looks bright and fresh! I used to have my bathroom painted this same color! Thought I was the only person in the world who had that. I love brown and pink. But like you, I'm starting to long for lighter and more relaxing colors in the bedroom and bath.
