Hello friends!
We had a very snowy (blizzard!) weekend.
I was stuck inside so I got a few crafts done that I had been wanting to do.
First I wanted to show you a fun "cake stand" that I got on clearance from Homegoods.
I put some pink tulips on a pitcher and put them on the stand,
I love buying fresh flowers from the market. I can't wait until my garden has flowers I can bring inside.
The stand is very heavy, concrete I would guess? I love how it is painted a whitish gray.
I have some big plans for these frames. I wanted to spray paint them this weekend but it was too cold outside. Hopefully next weekend I will get them done.
I am using a new technique for these so stay tuned!
This wooden vase is needing some white paint.
This old (just old, not vintage :)) Pottery Barn topiary also needs some white paint.
I added white paint and my french carte postale stamp.
It came out a little messy but I don't mind, I love how it turned out.
Next on my to-do list was to either paint the "thingys" that are on the chandelier below where the light is. The other option was to add some fabric. I decided to add some burlap to cover up the discoloration. Burlap is hard to hot glue gun! I had fibers and hot glue stuck to my fingers, very messy!
I took off the first few strings of burlap so they would flare up over the light a bit.
I made sure the lights didn't get too hot, they are low wattage and I can hold my hands around them after they have been on for a bit so it seems to be fine.
I added an image from The graphics Fairy to the newly painted vase.
I used the same technique I used on my vintage milk jug, you can find it here.

I love how this turned out, too!
I hope you all have a wonderful week!
