I finally made the new chair cover. It took me about 5 hours to make one! A seamstress, I am not.
My primative notes for measurements.
Sewing...
The first ruffles are finally on.
My Paris sign is printed out for iron-on.
Finished chair cover before iron-on.
Ironing
Peeling back the label.
I do like the finished result. I would like to learn how to stencil on or figure out other options.
I thought the Paris sign would be bigger, but I am happy with the results. Time to work on the next three!
I hope you all have a great night, let me know what you think!
I think you did a great job! Sewing is a lot of work - and takes patience! But the end result is worth it...
ReplyDeleteGreat job! Very cute, and I love the transfer. I'm a fan of quilting, and as long as I can get my grandaughter to thread the needle - I'm good.
ReplyDeleteFantastic job Shanon! I love the fabric and the ruffle is a lovely touch. But the Paris iron on really makes the whole project. Very well done!
ReplyDeleteThey are beautiful! So very Shanon! I would love to have vintage chair covers like that, would you want to come over and make some for the bunker?
